George Roussos
A Chemical Engineer, Mr. Roussos graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1954. In 1957 he was hired by the Ministry of Public Works and was assigned to the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of the Central Laboratory of Public Works. In 1961 Mr. Roussos, along with his partner Mr. Sissakis, who also served at the Central Laboratory of Public Works, founded “GEOTECHNIKI”. Since then Mr. Roussos has been continuously engaged in geotechnical investigations and design, the interpretation and evaluation of soil and rock mechanics laboratory test results, the quality control of the construction materials of civil engineering projects and the consulting during dam construction.
Alexandros Yiagos
A 1986 graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, Dr. Yiagos obtained a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Princeton University, U.S.A. in 1990. The title of his thesis was: “Two-Dimensional Two-Phase Elasto-Plastic Seismic Response of Earth Dams”. Dr. Yiagos joined the company in 1991 and is in charge of the geotechnical investigations and design department of the company.
Stelios Felekos
A civil engineer, Mr. Felekos graduated from the Democritus University of Thrace in 1985. Mr. Felekos joined the company in 1989 and is in charge of the technical consulting and construction quality control department of the company.
Maria Fougia
Ms. Fougia received a B.S from the University of New Haven (1984), U.S.A. and an M.A. from the Polytechnic Institute of New York (1986), U.S.A. Ms. Fougia joined the company in 1997 and is engaged in geotechnical consulting.
Nikolaos Kefaloukos
A 1996 civil engineering graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Mr. Kefaloukos joined the company in 2005 and is engaged in in-situ supervision and material quality control during dam construction.
Petros Roussos
A 2012 civil engineering graduate of the University of Patras. Member of Geotechniki since 2012.
Eleftheria Moukou
A geologist, graduated from the University of Patras in 1989. Ms. Moukou joined the company in 1992 and is occupied with geotechnical and geological reporting.
Anastassios Antoniou
A geologist, graduated from the University of Patras in 1990. Mr. Antoniou joined the company in 1992 and is in charge of the soil and rock mechanics laboratory of the company. He also participates in the supervision of geotechnical investigations.
Konstantinos Giannelis
A geologist, graduated from the University of Athens in 1997 and joined the company in 2000. Mr. Gianellis is responsible for the execution of soil mechanics, rock mechanics and material quality control tests for civil engineering projects. He also participates in the supervision of geotechnical investigations.
Evangelia Kei
An engineer of infrastructure projects, graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 2003, joined the company in 2005 and is a member of its support team.
Demetrios Makris
A geotechnology and environmental engineer, graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Kozani in 2010. Mr. Makris had already joined the company in 2009 and has been occupied with soil and rock mechanics laboratory testing.
Nikolaos Lafazanidis
Laboratory technician and supervising foreman with 25 years of experience, specializing in the quality control of dam construction materials.
Christos Tsiantas
Laboratory technician and supervising foreman with 20 years of experience, specializing in the quality control of dam construction materials.
